History
The origins of DANNEMANN date back to 1864, when the Burger family launched a business in Switzerland focused on cigar and pipe tobacco. In the same years, in Brazil, Geraldo Dannemann founded a company with the goal of producing cigars of the highest quality.
After more than a century of parallel paths, the two entities joined forces to form today’s DANNEMANN Group, which remains a Swiss family-owned company committed to the constant pursuit of excellence.
Production Processes
DANNEMANN cultivates its own tobacco varieties directly on company-owned plantations in Brazil and Indonesia. A know-how built over more than a century combines agricultural tradition with modern agronomic science within a fully integrated supply chain, ensuring tobacco of the highest quality.
